This activity is open to AMC Medical Staff Only. This morbidity and mortality activity is designed to instigate improvement of obstetrical/neonatal patients by means of thorough discussion among care team members. The intent is to identify best approaches to each patient's care by application of best practice along with evidence-based practices and recommendations by subspecialty experts.

1. To identify physician quality issues by OB/GYN as defined by the American Congress and Gynecologists and Neonatologists as defined by the American Academy of Pediatrics.
2. To evaluate specialty specific opportunities through review of morbidity and mortality
3. To engage in the most current best practice standard in providing maternal and neonatal care.
4. To review and discuss Fetal Monitor Strips which are pertinent to cases for review.
5. To enhance communication among maternal and neonatal clinicians to improve efficiency and quality of care for patients with complex maternal and neonatal conditions.

Wright State University  Boonnshoft school of medicine (WSU BSOM) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. WSU BSOM designated this CME activity for a maximum of 1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 20 days before the course will be refunded, less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after that date. Please send cancellation requests to [email protected].
