AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (4.00 hours), General Attendance (4.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (4.00 hours)

Each session will be focused on an identified leadership skill. Participants will have pre-work to complete prior to the session (review article / video, complete assessment tool, etc.) The session will include a time to debrief the pre-work, and then a didactic on the identified topic of the week. Finally, the group will work through case studies, or a group activity to further emphasize the week's topic. Utilization of active learning modalities, such as a discussion and group activities, as well as focus on real-world application will enhance retainment of knowledge. Participants will be asked to complete a capstone project for this course which demonstrates skills learned throughout the course.

1. Evaluate your leadership and communication styles, along with your emotional intelligence and develop your leadership brand.
2. Describe effective team building, including tools available to healthcare leaders.
3. Develop a program that furthers the mission, vision, and strategic plan of the organization.

Wright State University (WSU) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. WSU designated this CME activity for a maximum of 4.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 20 days before the course will be refunded, less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after that date. Please send cancellation requests to [email protected].
