AMC Cardiovascular Mortality, Morbidity, and Improvement (CV MMI) and Case Conference

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (1.00 hours), General Attendance (1.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (1.00 hours)

A formal venue for collaborative discussions of Open Heart, Cardiac Cath, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention and Electrophysiology complex, high risk cases and mortality and morbidity to gain medical knowledge to enhance patient outcomes. Discussions will also include actual levels of performance compared to expected levels of performance while providing evidence-based educational activities that will maintain and advance skills and medical knowledge, promote lifelong learning, promote safety, and improve patient outcomes.

1. The participants will be able to compare actual levels of performance to expected levels using STS and ACC Registry benchmarks.
2. The participants will be able to identify opportunities for improvement in the management of cardiac and cardiac surgery patients.
3. The participants will be able to discuss the most current best practice, evidence-based standards for cardiology and cardiac surgery.
4. The participants will be able to recommend specialty specific action plans for practice improvement and enhance patient outcomes.

Wright State University (WSU) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. WSU designated this CME activity for a maximum of 1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Cancellation Policy
