This activity is open to AMC Medical Staff Only. This morbidity and mortality activity is designed to instigate improvement of obstetrical/neonatal patients by means of thorough discussion among care team members. The intent is to identify best approaches to each patient's care by application of best practice along with evidence-based practices and recommendations by subspecialty experts.

Objective(s): 1 To identify physician quality issues by OB/GYN as defined by the American Congress and Gynecologists and Neonatologists as defined by the American Academy of Pediatrics. 2 To evaluate specialty specific opportunities through review of morbidity and mortality 3 To engage in the most current best practice standard in providing maternal and neonatal care. 4 To review and discuss Fetal Monitor Strips which are pertinent to cases for review. 5 To enhance communication among maternal and neonatal clinicians to improve efficiency and quality of care for patients with complex maternal and neonatal conditions.
