This 2.5 day retreat and training workshop will draw on the award-winning discovery model methods of the Remen Institute for the Study of Health and Illness (RISHI), offering nourishment and self-care for healthcare professionals. See attached E-Flyer titled 2026 TTF Flyer

1. Describe and demonstrate the use of the major tools and strategies of Affective Domain learning.
2. Explain and apply the skills of generous listening to uncover deeper meaning in daily work.
3. Discuss the importance of meaning, commitment, calling, and service in your work.
4. Practice two personal self-care tools to articulate and refresh their sense of meaning in their work.
5. Incorporate symbols to strengthen themselves and refresh personal and professional meaning in the workplace.
6. Share the personal meaning of their work with their colleagues.
7. Create a personal mission statement/oath as a tool to reconnect to your personal commitment and the purpose of your work.
8. Review and describe Discovery Model of Learning educational theory.
9. Organize and implement a Finding Meaning Group.

Wright State University (WSU) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. WSU designated this CME activity for a maximum of 14.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 20 days before the course will be refunded, less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after that date. Please send cancellation requests to [email protected].
